Denver Children’s Theatre

About the Denver Children’s Theatre

For those unfamiliar with the award-winning Denver Children’s Theatre, we have been producing quality theatre for young audiences (children ages 7 and up) for 20 years, presenting a fully mounted mainstage production featuring some of the finest adult professional actors in the region.

This year we are excited to offer The Jungle Book. Based on the popular children’s book by Rudyard Kipling, this fast-paced retelling keeps you perched on the edge of your seat as young Mowgli comes face-to-face with sneaky monkeys, noisy vultures and his mortal enemy: the tiger, Shere Khan.

We look forward to another season as we continue our artistic journey to educate, enlighten and entertain children and families through quality live theatre productions.

An examination of the enduring appeal of Leonard Nimoy and his portrayal of Spock in Star Trek.

Featuring clips from Nimoy’s career and inspiring interviews with the Star Trek cast past and present, including William Shatner, George Takei, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, director Adam Nimoy has crafted a loving tribute to not only his father, but also to the man and cultural icon we know as Mr. Spock. And you may be surprised by how Leonard Nimoy’s strong connection to Judaism contributed to his artistic choices, especially as a renowned theatre actor and director.
