Moos has sacrificed her dream of being a performer to live at home and take care of her widowed father. Suddenly, her childhood best friend, Sam, returns after living in Israel, and Moos is inspired to go after the life she always wanted and audition for the local performing arts conservatory. When she is rejected, she protects her ego and her family’s belief in her by pretending to attend classes while working in the school cafeteria. Moos’s pretense gets more and more problematic as she begins an affair with one of the school’s teachers, further complicated by Sam’s realization that he may still have feelings for Moos. This film is a warm and light-hearted comedy that inspires us to follow our hearts and reach for the stars.

Moos has screened at the Boston Jewish Film Festival and the Atlantic Jewish Film Festival. Colorado Premiere.
