Dear Filmmaker,Thank you for your interest in the Mellon Financial Denver Jewish Film Festival, presented by the Mizel Center for Arts and Culture! Our fast-growing festival has been embraced as one of the leading events on Colorado’s cultural calendar, and we are delighted that you are interested in screening your work here.
We are now accepting entries for the Festival’s 13th edition, to be held February 4–14, 2009. The Festival highlights the best in contemporary films illuminating the Jewish experience and perspective. All films are screened in the Shwayder Theatre, on the campus of the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center.
Deadline
Submissions MUST BE RECEIVED BY August 15, 2008. Materials received after that date will not be considered.
Format for Submissions
DVD (NTSC) or video (NTSC) only. Materials received in PAL Format will not be considered.
Checklist: Completed Entries Must Include
- Preview screener, NTSC VHS video tape or NTSC DVD. Foreign language films must have English subtitles. Entries submitted in other formats will not be reviewed.
- Completed Entry Form
- Self-addressed stamped envelope for return of screener. Materials submitted without a self-addressed envelope stamped with sufficient postage will not be returned.
