Staff
Toby Meyer
Toby studied painting at the University of Colorado, the University of Oklahoma, Loretto Heights College, Red Rocks Community College and with Edith Niblo. Her paintings have been collected in private and corporate collections in Israel, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, as well as throughout the United States. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and one-woman shows. Her work can be seen at Space Gallery in Denver and at Signatures Fine Arts in Florida.
Robin Furuta
Robin is well known for her functional ware, strongly inspired by a traditional Japanese aesthetic. She is an expert on the potters wheel and generously shares information with her students. She is highly sought after as an instructor who teaches both continuing education classes and college level students. We are very pleased to have Robin returning as a member of our faculty.
Todd Redmond
Todd received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois State University with an emphasis in ceramics and photography. He has spent the past 16 years making a living from his artwork. Todd owns a handmade tile business and also creates functional and sculptural ceramics. Teaching has been a large part of his career, and he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
Vicky Smith
Vicky holds a B.F.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.F.A. in ceramic sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, the DeCordova Museum in Massachusetts, and at numerous art centers and community schools. Her work has been exhibited at art shows and galleries throughout the country.
