Each year, the patrons of the Denver Jewish Film Festival are given the opportunity to vote for a “best narrative film” and “best documentary film” screened during the 11-day Festival. The winners for the 16th Denver Jewish Film Festival are:
Best Narrative Film: I Shall Remember
Best Documentary Film: Nicky’s Family
Please note that ballots were not available for the very popular Mary Lou because it was a TV mini-series and so would fall into a category in which it was the only contender. Ballots were also not available for the two short films, I’m Ready, and A Reuben by Any Other Name, since there would have been only two contenders in that category.
